1958年在黔南中等专业学校就读，1961年从大哥王永正学艺，熟练掌握了铜鼓十二调的鼓谱、演奏及使用习俗，是铜鼓十二调的第四代传人。

男，布依族，1941年生，贵州贞丰人。

其代表演出作品曾在四届贞丰“六月六”布依风情节演出，并被贵州省花灯剧团录制为背景音乐。

Honors & Recognition

第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目铜鼓十二调代表性传承人。

近年来积极从事传承活动，培养出多名铜鼓演奏艺术人才。
