男，汉族，1938年生，山西翼城人。

杨作梁9岁起跟随叔叔、著名花鼓艺人杨生汉学习打花鼓。

他技艺高超，擅长“多鼓”表演，尤以“三鼓朝阳”最拿手，舞蹈动作灵活多变，多采用跳转身接单腿跪，表演中静止造型多，给人以干脆、麻利、坚毅和强悍的印象。

代表作品有：《喜迎春》《观灯》《工农大联盟》等。

Honors & Recognition

第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目翼城花鼓代表性传承人。

杨作梁除收有徒弟杨作桐、李青凤等人外，还培养了众多花鼓艺人。
