男，汉族，1942年生，河南滑县人。

魏守现自幼拜大平调名须生郝京文为师，相随十余年，掌握了许多大平调演出技艺，自登台演出至今已有五十余年大平调演出经历，2000年退休后仍跟团演出，主要辅导青年演员。

其演出技艺高超，各行当均能表演，唱腔朴实无华、字正腔圆，被誉为大平调“红脸王”。

代表作品有：《海瑞搜宫》《闯幽州》等。

Honors & Recognition

第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目大平调代表性传承人，国家三级演员。
