郑秀琴1957年进入漳州市荀仔班芗剧团学习芗剧艺术表演，受教于邵江海、林文祥等名师，全面掌握了芗剧表演艺术特别是闺门旦、青衣的表演程式，继承了邵江海以字行腔的“杂碎调”演唱技艺。

代表作品有：《钗头凤》《琵琶记》等。

Honors & Recognition

第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目歌仔戏代表性传承人，一级演员，享受国务院政府特殊津贴。
