陈志杰1978年进入福建艺校木偶班，学习木偶表演艺术，1979年师从本团鼓师龚天锡，是目前泉州市唯一一位二级演奏员。

多次参加国内外的文化交流活动。
Honors & Recognition
第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目木偶戏（泉州提线木偶戏）代表性传承人，二级演奏员。
从事司鼓及打击乐器的近三十年中，他抢救排练了《目连救母》《李世民游地府》《三藏取经》等一批传统剧目，并演出《水漫金山》《火焰山》等优秀剧目以及大量新剧目，是泉州提线木偶传统音乐“傀儡调”及司鼓、打击乐器演奏的重要传承人。
他曾荣获文化部第十、第十一届“文华新剧目奖”及全国木偶皮影比赛“金狮奖”。
