王春荣自幼跟随人偶戏前辈学唱人偶戏，后考入临高县红华人偶剧团，主要学习老艺人罗用启演戏风格，而后被送往广东木偶剧团跟班学习，1996年至今，在临高县焕杰人偶剧团任职。
他的扮相英俊，音域宽广，小生、老生皆能担演，富于幽默感和感染力。
他操纵偶像得体，以优美的肢体语言辅助偶像的表演，能使人偶浑然一体，甚为引人注目。
他积极带徒授艺，培养了刘亚五、吴春生、李超等一批演员，代表作品有《张文秀》《状元与乞丐》等。

男，汉族，1961年生，海南临高人，第二批国家级非物质文化遗产项目木偶戏（临高人偶戏）代表性传承人。
