From 1973 she studied successively under the renowned Xihe Dagu performing artists Wang Yanfen, Ma Zengfen, Li Wenxiu and Tian Yinting, and is a sixth-generation transmitter of Xihe Dagu.

Female, of the Han ethnic group, born in 1962 in Hejian, Hebei. She is now a research librarian of the Hebei Provincial Mass Art Gallery. Her performance is delicate and vivid, and she excels at portraying characters' inner worlds; her singing tempers strength with gentleness. Her representative work is the long Xihe Dagu piece Mu Guiying.
