伍家沟民间故事讲述家。
担任过民办教师、大队会计、村委会主任。
有极强的听、看、讲、传、记录故事的能力，会讲故事三百余则，尤其擅讲生活故事、精灵鬼怪故事、动物植物故事。
注重寓教于乐的教化作用，讲故事时自己不动声色，总让人会意一笑。
有十八则故事入选中国民间文艺出版社1989年出版的《伍家沟民间故事集》。
能唱民歌，有十首民歌入选长江文艺出版社1993年出版的《伍家沟村民间歌谣集》。
全力搜集整理伍家沟民间故事及民歌，并动员村民参与，积极组织故事会，培养了一批传承人。
Honors & Recognition
男，汉族，1942年7月生，2016年12月去世，湖北省丹江口市人。
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目伍家沟民间故事代表性传承人。
参加故事演讲比赛五次，有四次获奖。
