女，汉族，1938年11月生，湖北省江陵县人。

自幼酷爱唱歌跳舞，从小跟姨妈王金秀学唱马山民歌。

演唱的代表性民歌有小调·绣荷包调《绣一个社会主义好前程》、田歌·穿号子《喜庆丰收好热闹》、田歌·薅草歌《我说老板是头牛》、山歌·赶五句《喊我情哥吃火烧》《喇叭调》《叮当调》《清早起来脸朝东》等，为马山民歌的传承起到了很大的推动作用。

Honors & Recognition

第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目马山民歌代表性传承人。

1956年随湖北省民歌代表队参加了全国群众文艺调演获一等奖，并被选派到中南海怀仁堂作专场汇报演出。
