男，汉族，1936年6月生，河北省黄骅市人。
自幼聪明好学，跟随大人们一起看扎麒麟、耍麒麟，耳濡目染，喜欢上了麒麟艺术。
悟性高、肯钻研，是远近闻名的能工巧匠。
在多年的扎制实践中，不断摸索探究麒麟扎制技巧，使麒麟头部造型形象逼真、栩栩如生。
能自己设计图纸，根据麒麟的高矮确定各部位的比例尺寸，确保稳定平衡。
还改进扎制用料，将纸糊改为丝绸，延长了麒麟的使用寿命，增强了立体感。
同时，经常指导当地农民表演，传授表演技巧。
