自幼喜爱本民族文化，15岁师从父亲学跳芦笙舞，学唱本民族古歌。

20岁基本掌握芦笙舞的动作套路。
40岁时掌握芦笙舞一百个套路的跳法，尤其擅长老人舞、开门舞、猴子舞等，并能完整演唱拉祜族史诗《牡帕密帕》。
所跳舞蹈节奏明快，形象逼真，具有鲜明的民族特色和艺术感染力。
Honors & Recognition
男，拉祜族，1929年1月生，2017年7月去世，云南省澜沧拉祜族自治县人。
第三批国家级非物质文化遗产项目拉祜族芦笙舞代表性传承人。
利用农闲组织当地群众传承芦笙舞，带动和培养了一大批拉祜族芦笙舞骨干。
2013年，获中国艺术研究院（中国非物质文化遗产保护中心）主办的第二届中华非物质文化遗产传承人薪传奖。
