Angga
Mastery, Signature Works & Repertoire
From childhood she studied and took part in the Puduba Xuan dance and other folk dance activities. Her dancing absorbed the finest elements of xuan dances from across Tibet and embraced Tibetan religion, etiquette, custom and festival life; her movements were unhurried and measured in tension and release, never losing their elegance and dignity. Through lyrics that praise the scenery of her homeland, extol a good life, celebrate eminent monks and great masters, and invoke blessings upon the manor, she gave expression to the artistic character and cultural meaning of the Puduba Xuan dance.
