Dangcengben
Lineage & School of Heritage
His father, Lajia Cairang, was the fourth-generation ritual master of the June Assembly in the Regong region. Immersed in it from childhood, he could perform every kind of deity-entertaining dance with ease, and each year at the June Assembly he acted as his father's assistant through the entire ritual. In recent years he has devoted himself to training the next generation of bearers, organising dance teams to exchange and learn with other villages in the Rongwo River valley so as to pass on this folk custom.
