Male, Hui ethnicity, born in December 1962 in Zhoukou City, Henan Province. He studied medicine under teachers from childhood and inherited his family's medical tradition. He is mainly engaged in clinical work, teaching, and research on sores and ulcers, breast diseases, and the healing of chronic refractory wounds, and advocates a clinical approach that combines disease differentiation with pattern differentiation, holistic pattern differentiation with local pattern differentiation, internal TCM treatment with external TCM treatment, and multiple external TCM therapies.

Honors & Recognition

National representative bearer of TCM Diagnostic and Therapeutic Methods (Mai Family External Therapies of TCM), a fifth-batch national intangible cultural heritage project. He has long carried out transmission activities and trained successor talents. Since 2006 he has repeatedly conducted academic exchanges and taught courses within and beyond the province, teaching more than eighty class hours a year and instructing over three hundred disciples.
