吴陈基1978年参加松阳高腔周安剧团，工丑脚，师从吴李发、吴叶法等婺剧名家，掌握了较为深厚的传统功底，继承了较多的高腔传统剧目，一直致力于对松阳高腔的弘扬和发展。
